Oak
The oak is a generic term for the plants of the oak tree, and it also refers specifically to the oak tree. Flowers bloom from April to May and acorns are opened in autumn. Trees were hard, used to make cask in Europe, and charcoal in Korea. The oak is also a useful plant for insects, so the oak moth, which grows by eating oak and oak leaves in the larval stage, also has a kind of acorn, which is the fruit of oak, as a food. For the species of longevity beetle, stag beetle, duck oak heather, and flower ivy, oak timber is important as food for larvae. There are about 500 species, of which the following are growing on the Korean peninsula. In particular, in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, oak, oak, quince, and oak are sometimes referred to as "oak trees."
