WHAT DOES 초단파 MEAN IN KOREAN?

Microwave frequencies range from 30 MHz to 300 MHz. The wavelength is 1 to 10 meters. Analog television, FM radio, terrestrial DMB, and radio transmission. Except for some special cases, it goes through the ionosphere into space and has a similar straightness to the light of the medium and shortwave bands. However, the actual transmission distance is slightly larger than the visible range because it differs slightly from the UHF band and above. It used this band in early TV broadcasts, but later it was moved to the UHF band. In Europe, VHF TV broadcasting was almost abolished. In Korea, it was used in Seoul and some metropolitan cities until 2012, but transmission was stopped on December 31, 2012 due to the digital conversion.

It is transmitted to the antennas in the visible range of the propagation path which is strong in straightness, and is mainly used for FM radio, TV broadcasting, and other short distance communication.
