Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States as a traditional North American holiday, and on the second Monday in October in Canada. In Korea, it is celebrated on the third Sunday in November. On Thanksgiving Day, Americans gather together for family gatherings like Chuseok in South Korea, where they make and eat turkey and other foods. In most schools and workplaces, it is common to take a rest on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, for a total of four days, so that you can enjoy your holidays on a leisurely basis. Thanksgiving is also known as the shopping season, and on Fridays, called Black Friday, many people go shopping because all the stores are selling.
