Daegu Citizens' Hall
Daegu Civic Hall is a comprehensive performance hall located in 141 Taepyong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu. It was opened on October 5, 1975 and has been operated by Daegu Metropolitan City Facilities Management Corporation since 2000. Since then, KAMO has renovated the Daegu Civic Hall, which requires repair and reinforcement with aging, as a shared property development project, and reopened on November 29, 2013 as a high-quality professional concert hall at an international level. It was the only large-scale performance hall in Daegu / Kyungpook area at the time of construction, and it also served as a residence hall of the city art troupe until the opening of the Daegu Culture and Arts Center. It is divided into a large-scale theater with 1618 seats, an orchestra pit, and a rotating stage, an auditorium with 342 seats for small meetings and performances, and an exhibition hall with three large and small exhibition rooms. After the renovation, it has been transformed into a classical concert hall, and it has 1284 seats of grand concert hall, 248 seats of chamber hall, operating office, exercise room, and various facilities for guests.
