Daejeon Convention Center
The Daejeon Convention Center is a comprehensive exhibition facility operated by Daejeon Marketing Corporation. The Daejeon Convention Center is located near Expo Science Park where Daejeon World Expo was held. It was opened on April 21, 2008. The convention center consists of 4 exhibition halls, 4 medium sized conference facilities, 3 small conference facilities, 1 medium and large conference hall, and 1 general banquet facility on 3 floors. General banquet facilities can be dedicated to the exhibition hall if necessary. The Daejeon Convention Center hosts 10 to 40 exhibitions each month, attracting the International Space Congress in 2009, the IMF Asia General Assembly and the International Atomic Energy Agency in 2010. In May 2012, the World Cooking Association and the International Sommelier Association A general meeting was held. The Daejeon Convention Bureau, which operated the Daejeon Convention Center, was disbanded as Daejeon Marketing Corporation was integrated with the Daejeon Expo Science Park of the provincial construction corporation. The rights are transferred to Daejeon Marketing Corporation and now Daejeon Marketing Corporation is directly operated.
