Presidential Office of the Republic of Korea
The Presidential Secretariat is the central administrative body of the Republic of Korea that assists the President in his duties. The Presidential Office was reorganized on March 23, 2013, and is located in Chong Wa Dae Road 1, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The chief engineer is referred to as a ministerial-level official. It is also called the Blue House after the name of the building. In the past, there was a presidential secretariat, a central administrative agency that oversees the affairs of the President's office for counseling and other secret matters. It was launched on August 25, 1960 and was abolished on February 29, 2008, when it was reorganized into the Presidential Office.
