Dioxins refer to the following organic compounds. ▪ C4H4O2. Dioxin is a cyclic unsaturated ether with two double bonds in dioxane, 1,4-dioxin is stable in dilute acid, not soluble in water but soluble in carbon tetrachloride. ▪ Chlorodibenzo dioxin, a generic name for 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin. ▪ It is also used to refer to all organic compounds containing chlorine, which is similar to dioxin. It is a compound that is produced as an unnecessary by-product when producing herbicides, bactericides or other samples. Among human-produced compounds, it is one of the most toxic and can cause cancer or illness in humans. It is not only contained in herbicides, disinfectants, but also when incinerated waste. 2,4,5-trichlorophenol and the like are synthesized as unnecessary by-products.
