Dell is an international technology company in the United States and is headquartered in Round Rock, Texas. Related products such as personal computers, servers, storage devices, network switches, software, television, and computer peripherals. Initially, on November 4, 1984, the company was named "PC's Limited". Also, during the 1980s and 1990s, Dell was the largest seller of personal computers and servers. In 2008, Hewlett-Packard continued to rank second in computer sales. In 2006, Fortune ranked Dell as the 25th largest Fortune 500 company. On February 5, 2013, Dell announced that its founders, Michael Dell and Silver Lake, had borrowed with additional funding from Microsoft.
