DivX
DivX is a video codec developed by DivX based on MPEG-4 technology. Large and long images are close to original quality, but they have a powerful function that compresses them to a small size. It is possible to compress to about 15% of its original size. There are two types of DivX codecs. MPEG-4 Part 2 DivX codec and H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC DivX Plus HD codec. Divx codecs are mainly used for ripping multimedia data such as movies. At the time of initial development, only audio codecs existed, but now only video codecs are provided. Therefore, most of the time, DivX is often referred to as an image codec.
