It is a four-lane street with a length of 1.44km and a width of 20m, extending from Jangwon-dong, Lotte-gu, Seongbuk-dong, 64-122 Changwon-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. This road was named after the old nominee Dolgok of Seokgung-dong, Seongbuk-gu and was named after the first letter of Jangwadong and Seokgwangdong by Seoul Metropolitan Government Bulletin No. 14 on January 21, 1981. . At that time, Jangseokro was a 2km section from the Sokkwang-dong roundabout to the wolgye-ro intersection. On November 7, 돌곶이길 서울특별시 성북구 장위동 64-122번지 석관동로터리에서 장위동을 지나 강북구 번동 98-1번지 월계로에 이르는 길이 1.44km 너비 20m의 4차선 가로이다. 이 도로는 성북구 석관동의 옛 지명인 돌곶이마을에서 이름이 유래되었으며, 1981년 1월 21일 서울특별시공고 제14호에 의해 장위동과 석관동의 첫글자를 따서 처음 장석로(長石路)라 이름 붙여지게 되었다. 당시 장석로는 석관동로터리에서 월계로 교차점에 이르는 2km 구간이었으며, 1984년 11월 7일 서울특별시공고 제673호에 의거하여 돌곶이길로 가로명이 변경되었다.
