Duane - Reims Bible
The Duerens Bible is a Bible translated into English by the Latin Vulgate Bible from two English universities for the purpose of being used as the liturgical Bible of the Roman Catholic Church. The New Testament and its footnotes were completed in 1582 in Reims, France, and 30 years later the translation of the Old Testament was completed at Duane University. The first edition of the Old Testament, including Genesis and Job, was completed in 1609, and the second edition of the Old Testament was completed in 1610, including the Psalms and the Maccabees. At the time, the early editions had a large part of the outsourcing, and had strong disputes and paternalistic tendencies. He also provided in-depth insight into the translation problem and the Vulgate Biblical Hebrew and Greek source sentences. At the time, the original texts and commentaries were intended to defend the traditional teachings of the Catholic Church against Protestantism, which dominated the religion and thought of Elizabethanism.
