Galenos
Claudio Galenos is an ancient Roman scientist and philosopher. Born in Pergamon. After studying medicine in Smyrna and Alexandria, he began medical activities at his native place, and later moved to Rome and became famous. In Rome, he became the poet of four emperors, including Markus Aurelius, who was regarded as the best medical scientist since Hippocrates and widely known as the master of ancient medicine. In vivo dissection was carried out, and experimental studies were conducted especially on the nervous system. He left a famous saying, "The best doctor is a philosopher." There are more than 400 philosophical and medical relations.
