Canada
Canada is the northernmost federal state of North America, capital city is Ottawa, and Toronto is the largest city. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, the Pacific Ocean on the west, and the Arctic Ocean on the north. Russia is the second largest country in the world, and the border with the United States is the longest border in the world. It consists of ten states and three territories. It was the home of life for thousands of Canadians. In the late 16th century Britain and France began exploring Canada and settled on the Atlantic coast of Canada in the mid 17th century. France was defeated in the Seven Years' War and then transferred New France to England and lost control of Canada. In 1867, British Canadian united to form Canada. Since then, the growth of territory has been accelerated, and the identity of the immigration authorities has become increasingly different from that of the UK, due to geographical influences and immigration characteristics.
