Plasticity (Physics)
Firing refers to the property of a material that causes permanent deformation when it is deformed by force. There is ductility and malleability. The remaining deformation is called permanent deformation or residual deformation even after completely removing the load. This characteristic is important for metal processing because it means ease of processing. Orowan's dislocation theory also succeeded in crystallographically explaining this property.
