Guinea baboons
The guinea baboons are a kind of baboons belonging to Old World monkeys. In some classifications, one of the two species belonging to the baboons and the other is the capo babo. In this class, all other baboons are classified as subspecies of guinea baboons, and guinea baboons are called savannah baboons. Guinea baboons live in a small area in West Africa. The distribution areas are Guinea, Senegal, Gambia, South Mauritania and Western Mali. It is an omnivore area and a tame animal, but sleeps in trees at night. Clustering behavior is not well known, but a male appears to be living with several females. Like all baboons, it is omnivorous, eating fruits and sprouts, tree roots, insects and small mammals.
