Kookmin University is the first national history since the liberation of the Republic of Korea in Chungneung-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. It was founded in 1946 as a national college in Changseong-dong, Seoul. After the independence, the cabinet members of the interim government including Kim Gu, Cha Xiang, and Shin Ik Hee agreed that it is necessary to cultivate the national leaders in the long sight, and it soon became the banner of Kookmin University. Shin Hee-hee, who was one of the key people of Kookmin University, took over as the first dean. Kookmin University is composed of 8 departments and 1 industry-academia cooperation organization, 37 affiliated and attached institutions, 46 attached research institutes, 14 colleges, 1 general graduate school, 3 professional graduate schools and 10 special research institutes. Especially, it has high reputation both in domestic and abroad in design and automobile field. As of 2014, there are 15,493 undergraduates, 2,731 graduate students, 623 full-time teachers, and 463 faculty members. The total area of ​​teaching facilities and teaching facilities are 222,475 square meters and 248,651 square meters, respectively. 국민대학교는 서울특별시 성북구 정릉3동에 있는 대한민국의 해방 이후 최초의 민족사학이다. 1946년 서울 창성동에 국민대학관으로 설립되었다. 독립 후 김구, 조소앙, 신익희 등 임시정부 각료들은 긴 시야에서 민족 지도자를 길러낼 필요가 있다는 데 합의하였고, 그것이 곧 국민대학교의 기치가 되었다. 국민대학교 설립의 주요인물 중 하나였던 신익희가 초대 학장으로 취임하였다. 국민대학교는 8개 본부처 및 1개 산학협력단, 37개 부속 및 부설기관과 46개 부설연구소, 14개 단과대학 및 1개의 일반대학원과 3개의 전문대학원, 10개의 특수연구소로 구성되어 있다. 특히 디자인, 자동차 분야에서 국내외적으로 명성이 높다. 2014년 현재 학부생 15,493명, 대학원생 2,731명, 전임교원 623명, 교직원 463명이 재적하고 있으며 교지 보유면적과 교사시설은 각각 222,475 평방미터와 248,651 평방미터이다. 개교 이래 2014년까지 학사 85,505명, 석사 5,964명, 박사 1,007명을 배출하였다.
