Gumi Culture and Arts Center
Gumi City Culture and Arts Center is a municipal comprehensive theater in Songjeong-dong, Gumi-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. In 1979, a new city was established and the hall was secured. In 1983, a basic plan was established and a design development proposal was made. In 1984, the Ministry of Culture and Public Relations decided to establish a comprehensive cultural and arts center for each metropolitan city and province, and the current site was designated as the site. The design of architect Kim Soo-geun was adopted and the construction started on February 7, 1985, It took about 57 million won and opened on October 16, 1989.
