Gwangju World Cup Stadium
The Gwangju World Cup Stadium is a multipurpose stadium in Pungam-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju. The capacity is 42,880. During the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the grass was laid on the track of the general athletics track and opened as a soccer stadium, but now it is being used as a multipurpose stadium where it can open a track and field competitions. The K-League Gwangju Business Football Team was used as a home stadium from 2003 to 2010, and after the business transfer to Changzhou City in Gyeongbuk Province, it will be used as a home stadium of Gwangju FC, which is a citizen club of Gwangju Metropolitan City in 2011. He was also known as Guus Hiddink Stadium. It was the venue of the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals in Korea and Spain and was the main stadium of the 2015 Gwangju Universiade.
