Kwon Reservoir
The Kwon reservoir is a reservoir located in Kwangri, Yangbuk-myeon, Gyeongju-do, Gyeongbuk province, and is the origin of Yongdongcheon, a tributary of Daejongcheon. The project started on January 1, 1960, and was completed on December 30, 1964 for the supply of agricultural water and flood control. The watershed area is 640 ㏊, the beneficiary area is 89.5 ㏊, and the effective storage capacity is 550 thousand t. The embankment is a fill-dam type with a height of 18.9m and a length of 150m. The water flowing from the reservoir forms a dragon stream, flows southward, and reaches the western part of the river. To the west is the National Road No. 14 passing north-south, and there are ruins around the national highway, such as Gilin Temple, Gulguram, and Golgulam.
