Helo-nomus Paleozoic Carboniferous Late Reptile inhabited in Canada about 315 million years ago in the Pennsylvania period. Canadian geologist John William Dawson discovered it. The scientific name means "forest mouse", the body length is about 30cm, and the length of the head bone is about 3cm. Appearance is very similar to modern-day lizards. 힐로노무스 고생대 석탄기 후기 펜실베이니아기의 약 3억 1500만 년 전의 캐나다에 서식하였던 파충류. 캐나다의 지질학자 존 윌리엄 도슨이 발견하였다. 학명은 ‘숲의 쥐’를 의미하며, 몸길이는 약 30cm, 머리뼈 길이는 약 3cm이다. 겉모습은 현생 도마뱀과 매우 비슷하다.
