It is a branch of the monocotyledonous plant belonging to the ginger tree. It grows about 30-60 species in the first genus in tropical America. The appearance is very similar to the ginger, but the points without the leaves are different, so you can distinguish between these two without flowers. It has three calyx sculptures and petals, and usually has three stamen like petals, one of which has a round shape. The ovary is subordinate and has a style that tends to be petalized. The fruit is capillary and its surface is rough.
