Plasma extender is also called blood plasma solution. It is a colloidal solution which is a polymer compound. It is useful for restoring colloid osmotic pressure due to loss of plasma protein due to hemorrhage and for recovering and maintaining circulating blood volume in a solution containing only salts. As drugs, text is 40, 70 (10%), gelatin (4.5%), polyvinylpyrrolidone (3.5%) and so on. These are the same colloid osmotic pressure as plasma and pharmacologically inert. Plasma extenders should be free of accumulation and antigenicity. 혈장증량제 혈장대용액이라고도 한다. 고분자 화합물인 콜로이드 용액으로출혈에 의한 혈장단백질의 손실에 따른 콜로이드 삼투압을 회복시키고 염류만을 포함한 용액에서 순환 혈액량의 회복, 유지에 편리한다. 약물로서는 텍스트란40, 70(10%), 젤라틴(4.5%), 폴리비닐피롤리돈(3.5%) 등이고 이러한 것은 콜로이드삼투압이 혈장과 같고 약리학적으로 불활성이며 혈중농도의 유지가 높다. 혈장 증량제는 축적성과 항원성이 없어야 한다.
