Lee Dong-in (1849 ~ May 1881) is a Buddhist monk, diplomat, and rehabilitation thinker in the late Joseon Dynasty. The law name is Cheonho (淺 湖). It is the first person who changed the name of Chang, who was active in the flowering period (October, 1880), and the Japanese name is Asano Dojin (Japanese: 亜 野 東 仁). From early on, he was a bloomed monk. He met young men Kim Ok-kyun, Seok Kwang-bum, and Yun Chiho through Jewish and Ogyeokseok, exchanging new artifacts with them. In 1879 Kim Ok-kyun's visit to Japan was followed by visits to Japan several times. At the end of 1880, he was dispatched to Japan by a courier service of the Korean government. Immediately after returning to Korea, the moving person was appointed as a starring officer from the king and freely entered and exited the palace. Since then, as a chief of the municipal police station, Migrants have acted behind the scenes even when sending a shrine advisor to Japan in 1881, and negotiated secretly with Japan to purchase weapons and warships such as guns.
