Mireuksa (Baekje)
Mireuksa Temple is a Buddhist monastery built by the Emperor of the Baekje period. There is only one left in Kiyang-ri, Geumma-myeon, Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do, and it is designated as Myeoluksa Temple in Iksan. There are the remains of the Mireuksaji Stone Pagoda, which is now the national treasure, and the restored pagoda. There is a place where there was a wooden pagoda. In addition to Mireuksajji Danganjiju (Treasure No.236), there are artifacts and ruins Were excavated in 1966. Mireuksa is located on the southern side of Yonghwa Mountain and is constructed to the south facing the plains between the left and right ridges. In the 39th UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC) held in Bonn on July 4, 2015, the Baekje Historical Remains District (two places in the Gongju area (Communist castle, Songsan Tumulus), 4 Gyeongbu (Gyeongbuk ruins and Baosan castle, , Ilsan (Iksan Wanggungri ruins, Iksan Mireuksaji)) were finally listed as a World Heritage site.
