Artificial rainfall
Artificial rainfall refers to the way rain is artificially influenced by clouds or such rain. In other words, artificial rainfall is formed in the cloud layer, but when cloudy droplets can not grow into raindrops due to the presence of condensation nucleus or ice nucleus in the atmosphere, artificial small particles 'BC' are sprayed to induce precipitation in a certain area. As artificial 'BC', dry ice, Iodine, and saline particles are used. When these particles are sprayed in the air, precipitation phenomenon occurs because they accelerate formation of ice crystals or merging. It is called cloud seeding because it sprinkles 'BC' in the clouds. Cloud seeding is also used to weaken the intensity of typhoons, such as erasing fog, hail hunting, and so on.
