The
Lee is a professor of Korea. He resigned after assuming office as the 16th president of Korea University on December 21, 2006. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Columbia University in the United States. He has been a professor of business administration at Korea University since 1982. Since his undergraduate degree from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at Seoul National University, he is the first president of Seoul National University since Korea University opened. In 2007, the Korea University Foundation for the Study of Intellectual Property Investigations, which investigated allegations of plagiarism in past papers and books by the president, concluded that there had been obvious plagiarism. However, the Korea Foundation Foundation Board of Directors reserved its position on its presidency. From 9 am on February 13 to 6 pm on the following day, Lee Myung-py's trustees were voted for the professor, but the reliability of the vote was questioned due to the low turnout rate. On Feb. 15, Lee Pil - Sang expressed his gratitude to the board of directors. On Feb. 26, the Korea Institute of Public Policy and Management announced that he resigned his resignation. After his resignation, Lee will return to work as a professor.
