Lee Sang-jae was a politician of the Korean Empire, a liberal activist, an educator, a youth activist in Korea, an independent activist, a politician, and a journalist. After returning to Korea, he worked as an influential bureaucrat and resigned from office because he was involved in an extreme situation.
