Lee Yang-gu
Lee Yang-gu is a Korean businesswoman, founder of Tong Yang Group and Orion Group, and Hoan is Southwest. In 1942, he worked for the food industry in Hamheung. In 1947, he started selling confectionery in Seoul, Korea. He established Dongyang Food Corporation and established a nationwide sales network of sugar and flour. In 1951, Samyang Tongsan Corporation was established and imported and sold sugar and wheat flour. In 1952, the property was burned down due to an international market fire. After that, the sugar business flourished and became a nickname "sugar king." In 1955, he founded Dongyang Sugar Co., Ltd. in partnership with Lee Byung-cheol and Bae Dong-hwan, and participated in the management of Bongguk confectionary to establish the Orion Group. After entering Samcheok Cement in 1957, it entered the cement business and expanded its 8th plant to produce the Dongyang cement Samchek factory, which currently boasts the best production capacity in a single plant.
