Yong Gil is the former Labor leader. Born in Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, he was a central commissioner of the former Democratic Labor Party and promoter of the Democratic Labor Party. In 2009, he was elected deputy to the Yongsan National Convention in the Progressive Party Party. In the 2010 local elections, he ran as a candidate for Chungcheongnam-do, but when the candidate for the Kyonggi province of Gyeonggi province supported and resigned from the party, he disagreed, saying, "There are no election principles in the party." Subsequently, he resigned his candidacy and vice-ministerial representation as a protest. Hong Se-hwa, the leader of the Jinbo New Party, was in charge of the 2012 presidential election and resigned with the leadership. He was elected as the presidential contestant of the fifth party of the Jinbo Party and promoted re-creation of the Jinbo Party. Within the Labor Party, it advocates ecological socialism.
