Jamson-dong
Jamwon-dong is the administrative bureau and court municipal office in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Banpo 3 is also Jamwon-dong. Gangnam-gu, Shinsa-dong, Apgujeong-dong, and Seocho-dong. Previously, it belonged to Gangnam-gu but became a jurisdiction of Seocho-gu in 1988. Jamwon-dong was called Jamsilri and Sapyungri in Sangbuk-myeon, Gyeonggi-do, Gyeonggi Province until the end of the Joseon Dynasty. In 1914, it was called Jamsilri in Siheung-gun, Siheung-gun. Jamwon-dong is a place where mulberry trees and sericulture have been closely related. Jamwon-dong is related to the silkworm. When it was originally called Jamsili, it was called 'Jamsung-dong' after Jamsil Lee's 'sleep' to distinguish it from Jamsil of Songpa-gu when it was incorporated into Seoul. The neighboring area is a mulberry field, where farmers who cultivate mulberry saplings and cultivate the serpent are mainstream, and there are many mariners because the area is located on the Han River.
