Zhang Tangun
Zhangdangun was a group in the northwestern part of Gyeonggi Province. After the Korean War, most areas were set as civilian access control areas and were unable to function normally, but on December 28, 1972, except for the north of the military demarcation line, they were abolished. The 5th degree committee of the Republic of Korea North Korea appoints the honorary market, the military, and the municipal government for the three provinces of Gyeonggi-do and Gyeonggi-do including Jangdan City and Geomdan City. At the time of independence in 1945, the area was 722㎢. It was composed of 10 faces, with a population of about 67,000. The county office was located in Doran-san. Currently, there are the branch offices of Paju City Jangdan Branch, which has four jurisdictions attached to Paju City, and Jeonnam Gunjang Office, which is located in Yeoncheon County. The jurisdiction of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is Jangpoong-gun, which is composed of Wolgye-ri, Yeongbuk-myeon, Yeongbu-gun, and Suan-Nam-myeon, Yeoncheon-gun.
