Self-Defense Forces
The Self-Defense Forces are Japan's defense organization, consisting of three Self-Defense Forces (SDFs). It belongs to the Japanese Ministry of Defense. The Supreme Command and Supervision is in the Cabinet, and the Prime Minister is the Supreme Commander. Instead of MND, he directs the Self-Defense Forces under the direction and supervision of the prime minister.
