Chungcheongbong
Chung Chung Bong is a Korean fairy tale writer. The main building was Changwon, Born in Seongju, South Jeolla Province, and died on January 9, 2001 from liver cancer. In 1975, he graduated from the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Dongguk University. He worked as an editor at Samseon Publishing Monthly "Sampo" from 1978 to 2001. His main works are "Bird from Water", "Oseam", "Twenty-year-old mother", "Thinking fairy tale". He grew up in a Buddhist environment. However, after the Gwangju Democratic Uprising was brutally suppressed by the Chun Doo Hwan dictatorship in 1980, various religious experiences that led to the Catholic faith were affected by Buddhism and Catholicism. In 2011, 10 years after his death, the "Chungcheongbong Literary Award" was held to honor his literary spirit.
