Jeonju World Cup Stadium
The Jeonju World Cup Stadium was constructed as a soccer stadium in Jeonju City, Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea to hold the 2002 FIFA World Cup. It is currently being used as the home stadium of K-League Classic Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. Jeonju is the nickname of Jeonju Stadium, which was used to transfer Jeonju World Cup stadium. The rooftop is supported by a roof that symbolizes the harborside, a pillar symbolizing Sotdae, and a cable symbolizing 12 strings of gayageum. Also on June 7, 2011 and September 10, 2013, the pre-tournament of the Korean national soccer team, Ghana and Croatia, respectively, was held.
