Evaporation inhibitor In order to increase the water temperature in the past, machine oil, vegetable oil, etc. were used at a rate of 1 liter per 1a. Recently, however, OED (oxyethylene docosanol) has been developed for the purpose of preventing the evaporation of paddy fields and reservoirs and increasing water temperature. The effect of the evaporation inhibition is that the water temperature is raised, so that the rice grows well and the watering effect can be increased. 증발억제제
수면으로부터 증발을 억제하여 수온(水溫)을 높이기 위해 사용되는 물질로 예전에는 논의 수온을 높이기 위해 기계유·채종유(菜種油) 등을 1a당 1ℓ의 비율로 사용하였다. 그러나 근래에 OED(oxyethylene docosanol)라는 약제가 개발되어, 논이나 저수지의 증발방지와 수온상승의 목적으로 사용되고 있다. 증발억제에 의한 효과는 수온의 상승에 의해 벼를 잘 자라게 하고, 증수효과를 올릴 수 있다.
