Todor Zhivkov
Todor Hristop Jifukov is a Bulgarian leader who has long been in power from 1954 until 1989 when the communist regime collapsed. After joining the Communist Party in 1932, Bulgaria became Communist after World War II and became a Soviet satellite station. In 1954, he took office in the Bulgarian Communist Party and remained there until the collapse of the Communist regime. He was also the recipient of the People's Republic of Bulgaria from 1962 to 1971. After the collapse of communism, it was once arrested, and the pension was granted for health reasons. He was convicted in 1996 at the Supreme Court of Bulgaria and died of pneumonia in 1998. The government rejected his director.
