Georgia
Georgia is one of the states of the United States, one of the 13 states at the time of the American Revolution against the United Kingdom. It is bordered by Florida to the south, South Carolina and the Atlantic to the east, Alabama to the west, North Carolina to the north and Tennessee to the north. North of the state is Blue Ridge Mountain, a branch of the Appalachian Mountains. Central is a gentle plains and rivers in the southern United States run down the Atlantic Ocean. The highest point in Georgia is Bristown at 1,458 meters. The area is 153,909 square kilometers, the 24th largest of the 50 states in the United States. Georgia is the largest land area on the eastern side of the Mississippi River, but the fourth largest after Michigan, Florida and Wisconsin. The 39th president of the United States, Jimmy Carter, is from the state, and the current governor is the Republican Nathanian.
