Potassium Intoxication A state of abnormally elevated potassium in blood. Acute (chronic) renal failure, acidosis, adrenal insufficiency, trauma, and hemolysis are some of the causes of increased potassium in the blood. Symptoms include weakness, relief, paresthesia and abnormalities. In the electrocardiogram, the T wave on the tent, the P breakage room, and the QRS width increase, and when it reaches a higher level, it reaches the ventricular fibrillation and cardiac arrest.
