Keratoacanthoma is a centralized, single-stranded keratinized papule or a type of tumor that occurs in the face. It can grow to a relatively rapid extent, stopping progress and naturally retreating. It is thought to be a benign tumor of hair follicular picertinosite, but it is difficult to distinguish it from cancellous cancer clinically and histologically. Rarely, this syndrome has a multiplicity. 케라토아칸토마 주로 안면에 생기는 단발성의 중심합물성 각화성(角化性) 구진(丘疹) 내지는 그 종류(腫瘤)이다. 비교적 급속하게 증대하는데 어느 크기에 달하면 진행을 멈추고 자연히 퇴축하는 수도 있다. 모낭상피케라티노사이트의 양성종양으로 생각되고 있는데 임상 및 조직학적으로 유극세포암과의 감별이 어려운 경우가 있다. 드물게 이 증의 다발형이 있다.
