Cotswold disease Kotsu disease is a non-hereditary, sporadic retinal vascular disease of unknown etiology with vascular enlargement as the primary lesion. It is also called exudative retinopathy and retinal capillary dilatation. It was first reported by Coats in 1908 and generally occurs in boys under 20 years of age, with the most cases occurring at 6-8 years of age, but there are cases of 4 months or 60 years of age. It mainly affects men, and it is said that more than 80% of them are affected by only one eye. 코츠병
코츠병은 혈관확장증을 기본병변으로 하는 원인불명의 비유전성, 산발성 망막혈관질환 입니다. 삼출성 망막병증, 망막 모세혈관 확장증으로 불리기도 합니다. 1908년에 Coats에 의하여 처음으로 보고되었으며 일반적으로 20세 미만의 소년에서 발병하며, 특히 6-8세에 가장 많이 발병하지만 생후 4개월이나 60대 노인에서의 발병 사례도 있습니다. 주로 남자에서 발병하고, 80% 이상에서 한쪽 눈만 침범하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
