(1) 내막증식성폐색성 혈관염：주로 지(指)동맥에 나타나며, 예후는 반드시 나쁘지 않다. (2) 아급성 동맥염：주로 근, 신장, 신경 등의 소혈관에 나타나는 염증성 세포침윤으로 임상증상도 경미한 경우가 많다. (3) 전격성, 범발성, 괴사성 혈관염：장간막, 신장, 뇌 등의 중동맥, 신경주위, 고환, 부신, 근 등의 소동맥을 침범한다. 혈관염에 의해 하퇴궤양, 지지말달의 건성괴사, 장간막동맥경색 등 중태의 임상증상을 나타낸다.
