Magnitogorsk
Magnitogorsk is the city of Chelyabinsk, Russia. The city is bordered by the Ural River. The population is 427,800. 81.5% of the inhabitants are Russians, and Ukrainians, Tatars, Bashkirs, Belarusians, Jews, Uzbeks, Germans, and Woodmurts live. The complex is located in the center of the Russian steel industry. At the end of the 18th century iron ore was discovered. In June 1929, large-scale mining began. In 1931 it was registered as a city. In the 1930s, the Soviet Union developed into a five-year national economic plan. Boasts a huge amount of iron ore.
