Mangosteen
Mangosteen is a fruit tree from the Sunda Islands. It is cultivated in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia, and fragrant fruits of red color are opened. In India, the shell is used to make color. In Myanmar, it is called manggu. It is sensitive to the weather and growing at a very slow pace. The key grows up to 9.5m and gains more than 1000 fruits per tree in one season. Leaves are dark green, thick, glossy, 15-25cm long, and have a rosy flower. Fruits are small orange, round or flat. Flesh-like flesh-like flesh is surrounded by a thick, hard, crimson shell and is divided into several pieces similar to mandarin orange. It has been cultivated since ancient times in Java, Sumatra, Indochina and the southern part of the Philippines, because it is juicy, delicate, sour and slightly bitter. It is a common tree in the courtyard around the house in Indonesia.
