Mangyongdae District
The Mangyongdae District is located on the east side of Pyongyang City, with the south facing the Daedong River, the east facing North Gyeongsang Province and Cheonrima County in the Pyongan Province, and the north facing the Brother Mountain area. The population is 321,690 as of 2008, the largest among the 19 districts in Pyongyang. Although the land is flat and there is no mountain, it is relatively inconvenient for people to live, but because the rain is not frequent, agriculture has not developed. The main facilities include Mangyongdae Student Youth Palace, Mangyongdae Middle School, and Mangyongdae Revolutionary Academy, which are special schools for elementary and junior high school students of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The joint Korean-Japanese institutions and the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea And Seosan Soccer Stadium, which is used as a football stadium. On the other hand, there is Pyongyang Teaching Theater in Pyongyang, where the performances of Joseon Pyongyang Kyunggye are performed. The medical facilities are Pyongyang City Third People's Hospital in the medical center and Mangyongdae-dong.
