Maputo
Maputo is the capital of Mozambique. It is famous for the birthplace of Portugal's former football player Eugenio Wu. In the old days, it was called Lorenzo Marquez. It is a port in the Indian Ocean where the economy is concentrated in the port. It has an official population of approximately 1,244,227 people, but the actual population is higher because of slums and other unofficial settlements. Coal, cotton, sugar, chrome, sisal, copra, hardwood are the major exports. Cement, ceramics, furniture, shoes, rubber. There is also a huge aluminum smelter factory in Morzine. Mahutu is surrounded by Mahutu, but is regarded as a separate state.
