Sand compaction pile method It is a kind of soft soil improvement method which is to form relatively well sand piles by pressing sand into soft ground. It was originally developed in Japan and started to be applied in earnest to the improvement of the seabed ground in Korea. It is also called composer method. In the relatively loose sandy ground such as landfill, it is aimed to prevent the compression settlement and liquefaction, and to increase the shear resistance and horizontal resistance, as well as to improve the bearing capacity of the ground by forming the ground piles and the sand piles which are sandwiched and pressed. 모래다짐말뚝공법
연약지반에 모래를 압입하여 비교적 잘 다져진 모래말뚝을 조성하는 공법으로 연약지반 개량 공법의 일종이다. 일본에서 처음 개발되어 국내 해저지반 개량에 본격적으로 적용되기 시작하였는데, 컴포저(composer) 공법이라고도 한다. 매립지 등의 비교적 느슨한 모래 지반에서는 모래를 진동압입하여 원지반과 다져진 모래말뚝을 형성함으로써 지반의 지지력을 좋게 함은 물론, 압축침하와 액상화를 방지하고, 전단저항과 수평저항을 크게 하는 것이 목적이다.
