Muju
Muju-gun is a northeastern province of Jeollabuk-do in the Republic of Korea. Tongyeong Daejeon Expressway is connected, and it is adjacent to four roads including Chungcheongbuk-do, Chungcheongnam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do. Famous as a typical habitat for fireflies, it is a recreational city that aims to become a tourism and leisure-based corporate city based on a clean environment. It is the venue for Winter Universiade 1997. In 2005, it was selected as a corporate city by the government and is being developed. The county seat is Mooju-eup, and the administrative district is 1 eup and 5 facets.
