Nicodemus
Nicodemus or Nicodemus is a Jew who appears in the New Testament John's Gospel and is described as a person following Jesus' will. According to the Gospel of John, Nicodemus was a Pharisee and was a member of the Sanhedrin, the supreme council, but in the fear of Jesus he came to Jesus at night and asked questions. When the Jewish leaders condemned Jesus, he defended him, saying, "Our laws can not sue if there is no evidence of sin." After Jesus' execution, he buried the body of Jesus with Arimathea and Joseph. Nicodemus missed the opportunity to anoint him with Jesus while he was alive, but he gave his life to Jesus, who died, and sprinkled the spices so that the fragrance of faith finally spread out from him. Because he went to Jesus in the middle of the night, God gave Nicodemus a new life and constant wind of light, albeit slowly.
