Rice field
The Paddy field ("Paddy") is derived from the Malay word "padi", which means "rice". It is a submerged farmland, cultivated in rice and aquatic plants Is used. Rice was originally cultivated in dry land, but cultivation in paddy fields from the 20th century was dominant in rice farming. The rice fields are mainly rice growing countries such as East Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asian countries (Republic of Korea, DPR Korea, Japan, PRC, Republic of China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka), but in addition to this area, it can also be seen in the rice-growing regions of Piedmont in Italy, Camargue in France and Artibonit Valley in Haiti. Paddy fields are created through rivers or swamps adjacent to natural areas, but often require a lot of labor and resources on steep hillsides and require large amounts of water to irrigate the fields.
