Perseus
Perseus is a hero of ancient Greek mythology, which is said to have built Mycenae and is the founder of the Mycenaean Perseids and the Persian Achaemenids. He killed various monsters, killing Medusa, killing the sea monster, the goddess of the sea, the keto, or the whale whale, and rescuing Andromeda, the princess of Haiti. Acrisius believed in the prophecy that his grandson would kill him, and he put Dana and his son Perseus in a big chest and threw them into the sea. The chest reached Serifos Island and Perseus grew up there. Polydecthes, the king of Serifos who wanted to take Danae as wife, instructed Perseus to bring Medusa's head to death, the only one among the Gorgons to be killed.
